AEGIS EN50126/8/9 standards review

AEGIS continues to support the standardisation activities.

IEC CENELECBSI

AEGIS experts are involved in reviewing and commenting on RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) standards at national and at European level as UK representatives.

According to the CENELEC rules, to ensure that a European Standard is still current, it is reviewed within five years of its publication. This review results in the confirmation, modification, revision or withdrawal of the EN.

With regards to the EN 50126, originally approved in 1999, the revision started in 2008 and is still ongoing. It took a bit longer to get the consensus  but in the new year (2017) we might finally have the new standard approved.

AEGIS  can carry out all the RAMS activities (according to the old and new standard) along the V-cycle required by the EN standards / EU legal framework and support your team to move with the times.
