Daniele Diana

Daniele Diana joined the AEGIS Safety Engineering team as a RAMS Specialist. Daniele is an Electrical Engineer (BSc, MSc) with over 12 years of experience in the RAMS field (mainly in the Railway). He is an expert in the application and interpretation of European and International RAMS, and functional safety standards in different application fields (e.g. Industrial, Military, Railway). He is specialised in railway functional safety demonstration / assessment within the European legal framework, with a deep knowledge of techniques, methods, RAMS tools and life-cycle documentation. Daniele is an active member of different Cenelec CLC/TC9X working groups revising and creating new Railway RAMS standards (e.g. EN 50126-1, EN 50128, EN 50129 etc).

Lucia Capogna

Lucia has joined the AEGIS Safety Engineering team in June as a Senior Software V&V Engineer. She has covered various relevant roles among different industries (Renewable Energy, OIL & GAS, Defence and Railway), from SW Requirements Manager, to Lifecycle Documentation Manager, and Verification and Validation Activities Manager.  She has organised and provided SW documentation for the SW assessment to successfully fulfil functional safety requirements. Lucia is specialised in V&V where she has over 6 years experience, including being responsible for training new members joining the team. She joined from Bombardier, where she was Deputy Department Head of Vehicle Testing: responsible for the testing strategy and coordination. Lucia Capogna has a BSc in Computer Science Engineering and an MSc in System Engineering.
