Monitoring system safety and approvals

Our client is working with an operator to install monitoring equipment onto one of its rail vehicles. AEGIS has been commissioned to provide an installation safety assessment report for the proposed installation.

AEGIS is undertaking a Safety Risk Assessment of the installation, covering the system components. We are identifying hazards associated with these items and their installation on to the train and will summarise the evidence to be provided by the client, that will demonstrate that the risks from these hazards are controlled and mitigated to tolerable levels.

AEGIS is facilitating a HazId workshop to identify all hazards related to the installation of the equipment. The results of the HazId and the relevant mitigations will be documented in the final report.
